SERVICES  ·  HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

Eight things true of every villa, and six that depend on it.

Our management runs 175+ villas, booked, stocked, cleaned, staffed and answered for by the same teams, every day of the year. What follows is what the house carries, and what the people do.

Facilities

IN EVERY HOUSE

  • Private swimming poolEvery house has its own. Nobody shares it and nobody books a slot.
  • Air conditioningIn every bedroom and every indoor living room, which in a Ghats summer is not optional.
  • Wi-Fi throughoutAcross the house rather than within range of the router. Enough for a call, not just a feed.
  • Fully equipped kitchenAppliances, cookware, crockery and cutlery, for the groups who would rather cook than order.
  • Bedrooms and linenFresh linen, storage and enough of both that a group of twelve is not negotiating over it.
  • Hot and cold waterGeysers in every bathroom, with toiletries and towels set out before arrival.
  • ParkingRoom for a few cars inside the gate, and space on the approach for the rest when a group arrives in four.
  • Power backupSo that a cut in the middle of a Ghats monsoon is an inconvenience rather than the end of the evening.

WHERE THE HOUSE HAS IT

  • Lawn, deck or gazeboOutdoor space to sit in, which is most of why anyone drives three hours.
  • Barbecue and bonfireA pit and a grill on the property. Laid, lit and cleared if you would rather not.
  • Home theatre or musicA projector, a smart television or a sound system, depending on the house.
  • Indoor gamesCarrom, table tennis, board games. What the monsoon afternoons are actually for.
  • JacuzziOn the houses built with one, usually off the master or on the terrace.
  • Pet friendlyOn the properties that allow it, declared at booking rather than discovered on arrival.

Services during a stay

  1. Arrival and handoverThe caretaker meets the group, opens the house, walks them through it and hands over the keys. Nobody arrives to a lockbox and a set of instructions.AT CHECK-IN
  2. Meals cooked at the housePre-ordered before arrival and cooked on site. Indian, Chinese, party and seafood menus, with the group’s vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain split and any allergies set in advance. Charged per person per meal, with no cooking charge on top.EVERY MEALAT EXTRA COST
  3. HousekeepingThe house is cleaned and prepared to the same checklist everywhere in the portfolio, and serviced again through a longer stay.THROUGH THE STAY
  4. A caretaker on the propertyNot a number to call. Somebody at the house who knows where the stopcock is, how the geyser behaves and which light switch does what.ALL DAY
  5. Bonfire and barbecue, set upLaid, lit and cleared afterwards, so the evening is spent around the fire rather than building it.ON REQUESTAT EXTRA COST
  6. Celebrations arrangedDecor, a live singer, a bartender, a photographer or a private chef, organised for the date rather than suggested to the group.BOOKED AHEADAT EXTRA COST
  7. On call, three waysPhone, WhatsApp and email through the stay, behind the caretaker rather than instead of them.ANY HOUR
  8. Local arrangementsDrivers, trek guides, the fort that is worth the climb and the one that is not. Eight years of knowing a valley is mostly knowing this.ON REQUEST

Bookable alongside the stay.

Chosen at checkout, arranged by us, delivered at the house.

  • Event decorBirthdays, anniversaries, proposals. Set up before the group walks in.
  • Live singerAn evening set at the house, for the nights a speaker will not do.
  • BonfireLaid, lit and cleared. The reason most groups come up in December.
  • BartenderBehind the bar for the evening, so nobody in the group has to be.
  • Private chefCooking to the group rather than to a menu, for the whole stay.
  • PhotographerA few hours on the property, which is usually why the group remembers it.

Three tiers, one standard.

Every villa carries the same service and amenity baseline, whoever owns it and wherever it is. The tier sets what sits on top of that.

  • Eko Original

    THE BASELINE

The standard the whole portfolio is held to: the amenity set, the caretaker, the house rules, the kitchen and the support line.

  • Eko Gold

    WITH MEMBERSHIP

The tier the loyalty programme attaches to, with membership pricing applied in the tariff and offers carried across stays.

  • Eko Luxe

    THE TOP OF THE LIST

Its own dining menu and its own treatment across the site. What separates it operationally is being confirmed.

Three ways in, and a person at the house.

Most operators publish a form. A guest at eleven at night does not want a form.

  • CallA reservations line, on every page rather than buried on a contact screen. Hours to confirm.
  • WhatsAppThe same number, because in India that is where the conversation actually happens.
  • EmailFor the things that need a record: changes, invoices, group bookings, anything with a date attached.

Behind all three, every house has a caretaker and a documented set of rules the guest agrees to. The caretaker opens the door, and is the person a guest finds when something is wrong at midnight.
